What Can I Do with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology

Sociology majors, their parents, and the public often ask, “What can bachelor’s-level graduates do with their degrees in sociology?” To find out what these graduates are actually doing, the American Sociological Association (ASA)’s Research and Development Department surveyed a sample of sociology majors.

The first wave of findings from this survey, "What Are They Doing With a BA in Sociology?" discusses the post-baccalaureate characteristics of the class of 2005. The second wave of findings, "Pathways to Job Satisfaction" focuses on the cohort employed after graduation and describes the pathway to job satisfaction.
