Cooley-Mead Interviews

Each year Social Psychology Quarterly publishes the Cooley-Mead Address,
presented at the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association.
The recipients of the Cooley-Mead Award are recognized for their lifetime
contributions to sociological social psychology. We believe that readers
will find interviews with these disciplinary leaders inspiring in
understanding the biographical forces that contributed to their important
research. These interviews may be in the form of written texts, audiofiles
or videofiles as the recipient prefers. We intend to continue adding to
these materials as an aid in teaching, perhaps in conjunction with research
studies, as well as remembering the history of our discipline.
