Learning Goals
- Sociology can be useful for understanding both daily life and more global questions.
- To illustrate Schutz's idea of the "taken for granted" in social life, and many other sociological concepts.
- To demonstrate the value of cooperative learning in an environment that stresses competition, namely higher education.

Materials Needed
- Music, loud enough to be heard when people are joking and talking during the game.
- A classroom or area large enough to play with movable chairs.
- A class period of at least 50-minutes, although 75 minutes is better.
