William Julius Wilson
William J. Wilson served as the 80th President of the American Sociological Association. His Presidential Address, entitled “Studying Inner City Dislocations: The Challenge of Public Agenda Research,” was delivered at the Association’s 1990 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC,and was later published in the American Sociological Review (ASR February 1991, Vol 56 No 1, pp 1-14). Wilson is currently with the Wiener Center for Social Policy of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
