Individual Access

Whether or not you are currently an ASA member, you will need to create a new password in the new ASA member portal to access your account. Your username is the primary email address you used in the old system. If you cannot remember your primary email address contact [email protected].

The first time you access the new ASA member portal, complete the following steps:

(1) Click Forgot your Password? under the Email/Username field.

(2) Enter your primary email address in the Email field and click Send Login Information.

(3) Follow the instructions in the password reset email. Please make sure your new password is at least 8 characters long and contains one number, one uppercase and lowercase character, and one special character.

Note about Annual Meeting Online Portal: In order to access the Annual Meeting Online Portal, you must first follow the steps above to reset your password in the ASA member portal.

Note about Print Journals: If you receive one or more print journals, they will be shipped to your primary mailing address. Update your primary mailing address by May 15 if the primary mailing address in the new system is not where you would like to receive your journal(s). After you log in to the new member portal, navigate to the left-hand menu and click Profile. Then, scroll down to the Primary Address Info heading to review your primary mailing address and make any updates. To save any changes, click Update Profile at the bottom of the page when you are done.

Department Access

Whether or not your department is a current Department Affiliate (DA), access to department accounts is no longer through department login credentials. Instead department accounts are accessed and managed via the individual account associated with the primary email address on file for your department. If you do not know the primary email address for your department contact [email protected].

Once you have signed in, navigate to the left-hand menu and click on Your Organization. There, you will be able to update your department’s information and renew your DA membership. DA member benefits such as gift membership and TRAILS, can be accessed via the tabs on the left-hand menu.
