ASA takes public positions on issues related to policy for which there is consensus in the sociological literature or related to matters concerning the well-being of the discipline and profession. A Resource You Can Use: Race and Racism in the United States: A Sociological Guide for the Public
ASA has released this guide for the public which offers vital sociological understanding of race and racism in the United States and demonstrates the importance of antiracism educational efforts for our national wellbeing. The guide has been authored by the ASA Task Force on the State of the Art in Sociological Scholarship on Race, appointed by the ASA Council.
