The Loews Philadelphia has extended their reservation deadline until August 7.

Hotels

The 2023 Annual Meeting will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. In addition to the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, the ASA room block includes the Notary Hotel (formerly the Courtyard Downtown), Loews Philadelphia, Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia City Center, and Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Booking a room within the ASA room block is an important way to support the association and ultimately keep overall meeting costs as low as possible. Staying “in the block” is also more convenient and helps keep you connected with the informal activities and networking opportunities that occur at the hotels during the convention. The ASA room block is being managed by Connections Housing, which is the only approved, official housing vendor. Unauthorized housing companies may contact you and advertise cheaper rates or may fraudulently claim an affiliation with the event. All ASA hotels may be booked from the same central reservation website. The deadline to make a reservation at the group rate is July 27, 2023. If you prefer to speak to a Connections Housing representative to make a reservation, please call Connections Housing directly at (404) 282-0412, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Eastern. Travel

Getting to the Pennsylvania Convention Center
The Pennsylvania Convention Center is easily accessible by car, train, regional rail at SEPTA’s Jefferson Station, and bus. Download a Center City Map. SEPTA is Philadelphia’s local transit agency, responsible for Regional Rail, subways, buses, and trolleys. Travel to the Pennsylvania Convention Center – Public Transit.

Airport
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) serves the Philadelphia region.

Once you arrive, it’s about a 25-minute ride on the SEPTA Airport Line or a 20-minute ride in a taxi to Center City. Trains run every 30 minutes on weekdays and operate from 5:07 a.m. to 12:07 a.m. (Airport to Center City). On weekends, they run hourly and operate from 6:07 a.m. to 12:07 a.m.. The Airport Line serves the airport and Jefferson Station.

Fare for the Airport Line is $6.75 when you use a SEPTA Key card or a Quick Trip [both of which you can buy from a fare kiosk at the airport] and $8 when you use cash or a credit card.

The taxi ride costs a flat rate of $28.50.

Amtrak
Amtrak trains arrive at the 30^th Street Station. There are quick and inexpensive transportation options from 30^th Street Station to the Pennsylvania Convention Center via bus and train.

Car
There are more than 40 parking lots and garages in Center City plus metered street parking (read signs carefully for parking hours). To pay for metered parking, you can use a variety of payment methods (including credit cards) at one of the green kiosks, which will issue a printed ticket for you to place inside your windshield.
