Notes: Percent of degrees awarded to permanent residents whose race or ethnicity is known. All categories except “Hispanic or Latino” include only non-Hispanics. Two or more races was included as a category for the first time in 2009. Includes both first and second majors. Figures combine completions for sociology, demography/population studies, sociology and anthropology (joint program), and rural sociology; prior to 2010, these fields could not be separated.
